① Estimated budget US$2,200 (approx.330,000 JPY)/person (one person use in Room), US$2,000(approx. 300,000 JPY)/person (two person use in Room) as of 3rd of November 2023.
② The minimum number of participants is 30, and maximum number of participants is 40, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
③ JR train pass is not included in the estimated budget. It’s 50,000 JPY as of 3rd of November 2023.
④ Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is included in this estimated budget.
⑤ For meals, we have selected hotels that take wheat allergy into consideration, but we are not able to prepare a wide variety of allergy-compliant meals.
⑥ The above is a tentative schedule, but there will be no change in accommodations. If you have any questions, please contact

⑦ Pre-tours may accept applications separately from the conference; pricing will be finalized in January 2025.

① The nearest airport to the meeting place is Fukuoka International Airport. If you are coming from overseas, you will need to arrive at Narita
or Haneda Airport, then transfer to a domestic flight to Fukuoka Airport.
② The total distance walked at each of the destinations visited each day would be about 5 km (3 miles).
③ On the first day of departure, we will send a large piece of luggage to the hotel in Tokyo where you will stay two days later on Wednesday.
Please bring a small bag to carry your luggage for the two nights from Monday to Wednesday.
④ The first stop on the first day will be a golf course on Zoysiagrass, which will be explained by an American golf course superintendent,
followed by visits to tourist attractions to get a taste of Japanese culture. We are sure that you will enjoy Japanese culture.
⑤ Tour participants are advised to wear comfortable shoes with low heels as they will be walking at the sites visited. Sneakers are
recommended.
⑥ On the last day, we will take a bus from Tokyo to Karuizawa.

① The weather at the destination during the period of the visit was extremely hot in 2023. Please dress for the heat wave and bring several
changes of clothes, taking into account that it will be hot.
② When leaving Karuizawa, you can take the Shinkansen bullet train from Karuizawa station (a free shuttle bus available from the Prince hotel to the station) to Tokyo Train Station (60 min+) to transfer onto a local train to Haneda Airport (~30 min) or Narita Airport (~60 min). The cost in 2023 was approximately 6,000 JPY for the Shinkansen portion, and this train from Karuizawa takes just over an hour to Tokyo Station.
③ Limousine buses are available from Karuizawa Prince Hotel West to Narita Airport.
(a) Karuizawa Prince Hotel West 08:00 → Narita Airport Terminal 1 11:45
(b) Two limousine buses depart from Karuizawa Prince Hotel West at 14:00 and arrive at Narita Airport Terminal 1 at 17:45.
(c) One-way fare is 5,000JPY. Reservations required.
